BLACKPINK Rosé Sets A New Record For The Highest 1st Week Album Sales For Female Soloist In Only A Day With “R”

BLACKPINK Rosé continues to set records with new debut album!

According to Hanteo Chart, Rosé’s first album “R” which was released on March 16 reached 282,674 sales in just one day meaning it has now broken IU’s record in which 147,856 copies of “Love Poem” were sold in the first week.

As previously reported, Rosé’s solo album “R” recorded 500,000 copies in pre-orders, the sum of the many countries around the world and not only South Korea.

Additionally, “On The Ground” reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 51 different regions, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Spain, France, Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and more.
