Seo Shin Ae has been getting massive hate after being entangled in the controversy surrounding the alleged bullying of (G)I-DLE’s Soojin.
Previously, (G)I-DLE’s Soojin was accused of being a bully. After the allegations came out, her agency issued a response to deny everything and promised legal action against the people who spread false posts.
However, things escalated when fans brought up Seo Shin Ae, who also attended the same middle school as Soojin, she had previously opened up about being bullied in a past interview but didn’t name names. She said she was bullied in middle school because she was a famous child actress. As fans were speculating whether she was referring to Soojin, Seo Shin Ae ended up posting a vague Instagram story with the caption “None of your excuse.” Fans assumed she was referring to Cube’s statement after they denied everything considering the circumstances and the time it was posted.
A day later, Soojin personally issued a response to the allegations and denied everything through a personal lengthy statement. She even stated,
“I have never had a conversation with actress Seo Shin Ae when I was a student. I am apologetic to her as it appears she’s been negatively affected by this incident.”
This led to even more push back against the 22-year-old actress and some fans began attacking her on her Instagram and leaving malicious comments.
Seo Shin Ae then made another vague post, she posted a screenshot of Billie Eilish’s “Therefore I Am,” which further confused fans and created even more buzz online.
Netizens are showing mixed response to this issue, on one hand, fans sympathize with Seo Shin Ae and think she was caught up in this mess against her will, others think she needs to come out and either explain her side of the story or deny that her past interview about being bullied had anything to do with Soojin.

I heard seo shin ae was a bully too, apparently she smoked and had a boyfriend who used to be the biggest bully and used to bully herself as well.. these accusations against seo shin ae were made from classmates of her’s.
