OCN has shared its 2021 lineup of dramas!
On February 11, OCN shared a preview of the dramas that are set to air on its network this year. Here is what’s coming!
First up is “Times,” a time-wrapping political mystery about Seo Jung In (Lee Joo Young), who becomes connected to a reporter called Lee Jin Woo (Lee Seo Jin) from five years in the past through a phone call. Seo Jung In discovers a dangerous truth as she tries to prevent the death of her father Seo Gi Tae (Kim Young Chul), who is the president.
The Main Cast includes Lee Seo Jin, Lee Joo Young, Kim Young Chul, and Moon Jung Hee. It will air its first episode on February 20.
Next up is “Dark Hole,” a mystery sci-fi thriller about a group of survivors who fight against mutants that are created when humans breathe mysterious dark smoke from a sinkhole. It’s led by Kim Ok Bin and Lee Joon Hyuk and is penned as one of OCN’s “dramatic cinema project,” a project that aims to bridge the gap between films and TV.
And as previously reported, “Voice” is returning with its fourth season in 2021, it will be led by Lee Ha Na again and will include new faces as well. The rest of the cast members haven’t been confirmed yet. The story focuses on an emergency call center and its employees who attempt to fight crime despite the limited information they receive from urgent phone calls.
In the second half of 2021, “Hometown” is set to air, it’s about a mysterious series of murders in a small town, the mystery thriller demon begins with a tape that plays a strange sound. The cast members haven’t been decided yet.
The video ends with “Island,” a fantasy exorcism drama based on a webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of a man who needs a woman to end his cursed immortal life and a woman who doesn’t know about her sad cruel fate. The two are joined by an exorcist priest who is consumed by the guilt of being unable to protect one girl. On the island where evil lives, the three characters gather their strength and protect each other. The cast members haven’t been revealed yet.
