Dispatch has reported that all of GOT7 Members won’t be renewing with JYP Entertainment!

On January 10, Dispatch published a report that has since went viral all over social media. In their report, Dispatch alleges that the 35th Golden Disc Awards will be GOT7’s last activity as a group as the entire group has decided not to renew their contracts with their label.

This report was published just before the group took the red carpet even at the 35th Golden Disc Awards.

According to an industry source, the members are very close and would still love to be together, however, after multiple discussions with their label, they decided to part ways.

Dispatch explained each member’s possible fate:

Jinyoung has reportedly finished his final discussions with BH Entertainment, a famous actors’ agency.

While Yugyeom held his final meetings with the higher-ups at AOMG.

Youngjae was reportedly scouted by Sublime Artist Agency which houses many artists such as Rain, Hani and more.

JB is reportedly receiving various offers from famous hip hop labels as well as global labels.

Jackson will reportedly continue to carry out his activities through his label Team Wang, and he will carry out his activities in Korea through a separate agency.

BamBam will reportedly also aim to balance his activities in Thailand and Korea. It’s been reported that he’ll sign a contract with a content production agency, reportedly in talks with MakeUs Entertainment.

Mark is reportedly considering returning to his hometown of Los Angeles, United States to spend time with his family and considering opening a YouTube channel while pursuing music in the U.S.

What about JYP’s response on GOT7’s contract renewals?

The agency continues to give a vague statement not directly addressing the rumors, they stated to news outlets that they’re having difficulty confirming the news about each member being in contact with other labels, and will publish their position on this matter when their contracts renewals are ‘ready.’

In the Dispatch report, a source close to GOT7 shared,

“The members care a lot about GOT7. Though they will each be promoting separately, they agreed to make time when GOT7 reunites.”

#GOT7FOREVER is currently the top trending hashtag on twitter, fans have mixed feelings on the news.
