[BREAKING] All Of GOT7 Members Confirmed To Be Leaving JYP Entertainment

GOT7 Members have decided not to renew their contracts with JYP Entertainment!

After weeks of speculations and many media reports, JYP Entertainment has finally confirmed in an official statement that GOT7 will be leaving their agency, no member has decided to re-sign with the label.

On January 11, JYP Entertainment released an official press release to announce the news; the members will leave the agency after their contracts expire on January 19,

“Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

We held lengthy and in-depth discussions with the members of GOT7ahead of their contract expiration on January 19.

As a result, the two sides have agreed not to renew their contracts, instead wishing for a new future.

GOT7 has been a global idol groups representing kpop for the past 7 years since its debut on January 16, 2014.

To GOT7 who has been with JYP through Kpop’s growth, including iGOT7s, who have been the driving force with their generous support, we extend our gratitude.

Although our official relationship is over, JYP will sincerely continue to cheer on for the new future of the GOT7 members as they move forward.

Thank you.”

JYP didn’t comment on whether this also means the group has officially disbanded or not.

But what about the group members’ fate? According to Dispatch’s report from last night, here is what they reported:

Jinyoung has reportedly finished his final discussions with BH Entertainment, a famous actors’ agency.

While Yugyeom held his final meetings with the higher-ups at AOMG.

Youngjae was reportedly scouted by Sublime Artist Agency which houses many artists such as Rain, Hani and more.

JB is reportedly receiving various offers from famous hip hop labels as well as global labels. Jackson will reportedly continue to carry out his activities through his label Team Wang, and he will carry out his activities in Korea through a separate agency.

BamBam will reportedly also aim to balance his activities in Thailand and Korea. It’s been reported that he’ll sign a contract with a content production agency, reportedly in talks with MakeUs Entertainment. Mark is reportedly considering returning to his hometown of Los Angeles, United States to spend time with his family and considering opening a YouTube channel while pursuing music in the U.S.
