AKMU have renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment!

On January 26, YG Entertainment announced that along with the expiration of their 7 year contract with AKMU, the duo has decided to remain with the company for five more years.

Lee Chanhyuk commented, “It’s difficult to find a company that thinks of the artists as much as YG does.” Lee Suhyun added, “We did not ever consider leaving YG.”

In an official statement, YG stated the staff was touched by the news of AKMU’s long-term contract renewal and will work hard to provide full support for the group.

After competing on “K-pop Star Season 2” in 2012, AKMU debuted under YG Entertainment in 2014.
