TC Candler is getting heat for their caption on BLACKPINK Jisoo’s “The 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2020” Rank, here is why!
As 2020 draws to a close, TC Candler published its own rankings for this year’s most beautiful celebrities. Jisoo entered the list at 50th place, her highest to date.
While fans were happy about the ranking at first, they became furious reading the caption TC Candler put when announcing her rank. Each celebrity receives a custom caption when their name appears, on Jisoo, they wrote,
“Her English is a pity”.
This caption is a reference to a moment from BLACKPINK’s summer Dairy of 2019 in which Jisoo learns an English phrase from Rosé: “That’s a pity“. Jisoo later told her fans that it has become her favorite English phrase. With that in mind, BLINKs think TC Candler twisted her words and were out of line.
Fans began trending #APOLOGIZETOJISOOTccandler on twitter. Not long after the controversy aroused, TC Candler responded in a manner that agitated fans even more, they tweeted,
TC Candler stated they won’t be apologizing as this is a joke made by Jisoo herself.
