Ilhoon has left BTOB!
On December 31, Cube Entertainment released an official statement to announce that Ilhoon has left BTOB.
Here is their statement,
“We’d like to bow our heads in apology for causing concern with our artist Jung Ilhoon.
Jung Ilhoon is deeply reflecting and feeling the heavy burden of his action for breaking fans’ trust. The agency also recognizes the severity of the situation and after serious discussions; we’ve decided to respect his wishes to leave the group to not cause further damage.
Once again, we feel heavy responsibility for the current situation and promise to do our best so that Ilhoon will diligently participate in future investigation.”
As a result, BTOB will carry on as a six-member group, Cube promised to do their best so the group can show a more mature image in the future.
This comes after a report came out about Ilhoon being investigated for habitual marijuana use by police, later, Cube Entertainment confirmed he was being under investigation but didn’t admit to whether he used it or not.
