BTS And Stray Kids won awards at the 2020 MTV EMAs!
On November 8 (local time), the award show was held, it was broadcasted from multiple cities this year due to the COVID-19 situation, it usually takes place in one city.
BTS took home four of the five awards they were nominated for. They won Best Song with “Dynamite” beating DaBaby’s “Rockstar” featuring Roddy Ricch, Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now,” Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain On Me,” Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” and The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.”
BTS also won Best Group for the third consecutive year, beating out 5 Seconds of Summer, BLACKPINK, Chloe x Halle, CNCO, and Little Mix. And won Best Virtual Live for their online concert “BANG BANG CON: The Live.” Additionally, BTS won the Biggest Fans award for the third year in a row.
Stray Kids on the other hand won the award for Best Korean Act beating out ASTRO, EVERGLOW, KARD, and VICTON.
