Fans are in awe of BTS recent online concert attendance number!

Over the past weekend (October 10 and 11), BTS livestreamed “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E” to over 993,000 people from 191 different regions around the world breaking their own previous record, Big Hit told news outlets. According to Big Hit, over 993,000 tickets were sold for the two days concerts.

The boys performed tracks from their most recent album and also some of their previous hits as well. Originally, the concert was supposed to be held online and offline but due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in South Korea, the offline concert had to be ultimately canceled.

BTS used advanced technology for their recent concerts including AR (Augmented Reality) and XR (Extended Reality). Viewers also had the option to watch the show in real time through multi-view streaming or even catch up with every performance at a later date through a delayed streaming event.
