It’s finally been confirmed!
Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won have chosen the upcoming KakaoTV’s short-form drama “Love Laws of City Men and Women” (working title) as their next project.
Previously, both actors were in talks to lead the upcoming drama. “Love Laws of City Men and Women” will be directed by PD Park Shinwoo who’s recently worked on “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay.” A Lot of attention is paid to the drama who’ll be PD Park Shinwoo’s first digital drama.
The script will be co-written by Jung Hyun Jung, who has written the “I Need Romance” series and “Discovery of Love,” along with Jung Da Yeon.
It’s being described as a love story with ‘urban sensibilities.’
Ji Chang Wook will take on the role of Park Jae-won, an honest and passionate architect. He is a romanticist who loves the city vibes; he likes to collect hobbies. One summer, a woman he calls the “camera thief” steals his heart and quickly disappears, he is unable to get over her.
About the upcoming project, Ji Chang Wook commented,
“I am also super excited to prepare for this project. It’s a work by Jung Hyun Jung and PD Park Shin Woo whom I’ve been looking forward to working with.
Since it’s a short-form drama, and a new channel, please look forward to it.”
Kim Ji Won will take on the role of freelance marketer Eunoh Lee, an ordinary woman. After impulsively leaving for an unfamiliar place, she poses as the free-spirited Yoon Sun Ah and accidentally falls in love with Park Jae-won.
“City Men and Women Love Methods” will be seen on Kakao TV platform. Each episode will be around 30 minutes long and its reported that it will have a total of 12 episodes.
Kim Ji Won also shared her thoughts on the upcoming project, she commented,
“I am excited to be working with a good director, writer and actors. I hope that we can provide fun and comfort during such difficult times.”
The upcoming Kakao TV Original Drama “City Men and Women Love Methods” Broadcast later in 2020. The pairing of Kim Ji Won and Ji Chang Wook is already a hot topic among fans who are super excited to see them on screen together in a romance drama.
