BTS “Dynamite” continues to break records!

Last week BTS became the first ever South Korean act to top Billboard’s Hot 100 with their first English track “Dynamite.” And their winning streak continues.

On September 8, Billboard announced that “Dynamite” is the top song on Hot 100 this week as well; they broke so many records with this new feat.

Billboard revealed that “Dynamite” is one of only 43 songs to have ever debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, and has become the 20th song to remain on top of the chart for a second week.

“Dynamite” also rose from No. 20 to No. 18 on this week’s Pop Songs radio airplay chart and spent its second week atop Digital Song Sales chart. “Dynamite” also earneds 17.5 million U.S. streams and 182,000 downloads sold in the week ending Sept. 3 (according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data). It also drew 16 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 38%) in the week ending Sept. 6.

Congratulations to BTS!
