Joo Won and Kim Hee Sun New Drama “Alice” has premiered to promising ratings.
“Alice” is a new SBS sci-fi action thriller that tells the story of a detective (played by Joo Won) who discovers the existence of time travel and crosses paths with a woman who looks exactly like his mother (played by Kim Hee Sun).
According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere of “Alice” scored an average of 4.1% and 6.1%, the second episode (also split into parts) scored even better and saw a huge jump. The second episode scored average nationwide ratings of 6.4% and 9.2%.
The new SBS drama took over the time slot previously occupied by “Backstreet Rookie,” and marks Joo Won’s first drama since his military discharge.

So I’ve seen “Alice” and honestly, I am intrigued, its confusing but very entertaining and fast-paced, I will be publishing a review soon on the blog so keep an eye on it.
I think “Alice” can become the next big hit if it keeps up with this pace, its already doing so well in terms of ratings.
