IU is making headlines for another generous donation.
As Korea experiences resurgence in COVID-19 cases this month, IU made a donation to help nurses on the frontline. According to the Korean Nurses Association, IU donated approximately 4,600 cooling vests, valued at around 100 million won (approximately $84,410) through the Community Chest of Korea.
The association has revealed that the cooling vests will be sent to various testing locations around the country to help the nurses who are working hard in the hot weather.
This isn’t IU’s first time donating to help healthcare workers in their fight against COVID-19; she previously made headlines for donating 200 million won (approximately $168,820) in February.
