BTS has won many awards at The 2020 VMAs!
On August 30 (local time), the VMAs award show was held. BTS performed their first English single for the first time on TV on the award show and they took home many awards.
MTV announced BTS to be the winners of Best K-Pop, BEST GROUP, Best Pop, and Best Choreography for their song “ON.” All the categories they were nominated for.
It’s also BTS’s second consecutive year winning both Best Group and Best K-Pop, both categories were created last year.
They have also become the first Asian act to win Best Pop at the VMAs.
