It’s finally been confirmed!

Previously, it was reported that “Dynamite” MV had amassed approximately 98.2 million views in the first 24 hours, fans waited for the official count from a YouTube source to confirm the news since the official count differs from the one fans usually see on screen.

On August 23, YouTube revealed that BTS’s “Dynamite” music video garnered 101.1 million views in 24 hours since its release, meaning that it officially broke BLACKPINK’s latest record set by “How You Like That” at 86.3 million views.

“Dynamite” MV adds this to its list of growing accomplishments on YouTube; it previously broke the record to become the biggest YouTube premiere in history. At one point, the premiere had more than 3 million live viewers, a YouTube source confirmed. This means that BTS also broke BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” record which they set with 1.66 concurrent viewers.

To celebrate the happy news, ARMY are trending #Dynamite100MViewsIn24Hrs on twitter.
