BTS is breaking and setting new records on YouTube with their most recent track “Dynamite”!
On August 21, BTS released their highly-anticipated English-language single “Dynamite.” ARMY were ready to help the group shatter records and they’ve been doing just that.
The MV was revealed at 1 p.m. KST through a YouTube premiere. According to a report by Variety, the video drew well over 4 million live concurrent viewers at one point during its premiere. This breaks the record for the biggest YouTube premiere in history which was held by BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” MV; the MV had 1.66 million people watching, according to YouTube officials.
YouTube is yet to release an official statement confirming the exact number of highest concurrent viewers on “Dynamite” MV but it’s safe to say, the boy shattered records.
The MV view count is also moving at a fast pace and has already surpassed 46 million views, it’s been roughly 6 hours since it premiered. ARMY want to set new records for the most viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours.
