SM Under Fire For Delaying Red Velvet Subunit “Monster” MV Release A Couple Of Times + New Release Date Announced

SM Entertainment is under fire for their management!

Fans have been waiting for Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi debut song MV release. The MV release date was originally scheduled to be out at 6PM KST on the 6th of July. However, Irene, Seulgi, and the rest of the fans were confused when the MV didn’t come out after the members counted down to its release.

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when the members joined fans for a live broadcast to celebrate their unit debut so when the MV didn’t come out, fans were confused at first but it grew into frustration and anger as time went by.

As of this writing, it’s been more than 6 hours since the release of their debut album on music charts; however, there is still no MV in sight. The release was delayed a couple of times already.

What’s frustrating fans even more is the fact that SM remained silent on the matter for a while and didn’t respond with an announcement or a post or anything that will properly explain why the MV release was delayed so many times already.

Fans have been trending many hashtags on twitter to express their frustration with the way the label has handled the matter.

Meanwhile, “Monster” is doing extremely well on Korean music charts.

After various complaints, SM posted a response via Red Velvet official twitter account apologizing for the inconvenience and explaining that the MV will be released on July 7 at 12 PM KST.
