Despite trying his best to stop seeing Moon Young and instead focus on his brother, the possibility of Moon Young meeting her estranged mother sent Gang Tae into panic mode. He rushed to her place afraid that the runaway patient (presumably Moon Young’s mother) would cause her emotional or physical harm.

When he arrived at the house, the patient was gone. Gang Tae gave Moon Young a hug and checked up on her, when he kept asking about the patient, Moon Young got irritated and asked him to leave.

He followed her back to her room to put a bandage on her hands that got hurt during a confrontation with the runaway patient. Moon Young yelled at him for the harsh words he previously said to her. Gang Tae tells her to count to three if she can’t control herself, after counting to three, he kisses her.

The two characters previously shared a sweet kiss a couple of episodes ago but it wasn’t a ‘real’ kiss according to fans, however, this one hits different. Many online communities are discussing the passionate kiss scene pointing out how sneaky Kim Soo Hyun’s character was; fans are playfully calling him a ‘fox.’ K-netizens also praised the scene and tvN, many are commenting on how realistic the scene came out.
