“The King: Eternal Monarch” highly anticipated 13 episode aired last night!

Previously, SBS has shared that “The King: Eternal Monarch” will not air its 13th episode and instead air the movie “Contagion.” The production team explained that the reason behind this was to bring awareness about the ongoing situation with COVID-19. They also assured fans that the drama doesn’t have any production issues.




On May 30, “The King: Eternal Monarch” aired its 13th episode and the ratings weren’t as good as expected despite fans excitement about the episode.

According to Nielsen Korea, the 13th episode of “The King: Eternal Monarch” scored an average of 5.6% and 7.7% which is a decline from its Saturday episode last week, last week (on Saturday) the drama rated an average of 6.1% and 8.1%.

“The King: Eternal Monarch” ratings have been constantly in the news, the drama was advertised as the next big thing, but despite its popularity overseas, the drama failed to generate the same interest domestically.

In related news, the production team recently revealed that the cast of “The King: Eternal Monarch” has finished filming, wrapping up 7 months of hard work.

Being an avid fun of LMH& KGE, ..the delay of the remaining episodes were not appreciated by me..my anticipation lessened…I feel like I am being deprived of my favorite toy, so instead of wanting it so much …I just do not care anymore. One week is a long wait knowing afterwards for nothing….I love LMH & KGE to death, but I want them together…that makes me happier
