Park Shin Hye has opened up about her public relationship with boyfriend and actor Choi Tae Joon for the first time in a long time.
If you didn’t follow Park Shin Hye closely, you probably wouldn’t have known she was publicly dating actor Choi Tae Joon. The couple confirmed their relationship in 2018 and has been happily dating ever since.
They both study at Chung Ang University, and have developed from close friends to lovers since 2017.
However, unlike many Korean celebrity couple, Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon rarely brought up each other during interviews on TV or pretty much anywhere; they kept dating quietly and would occasionally be spotted on dates.
That is until Park Shin Hye’s recent interview in which she opens up about how she felt about going public with her relationship. On June 22, Park Shin Hye was interviewed for her upcoming movie “#Alive” and when asked about her public relationship with her boyfriend, she said,
“It wasn’t our intention to go public with our relationship back then, but now that it happened, it’s been nice. We’re still going strong.”
Choi Tae Joon is currently serving in the military and there have been rumors about a possible breakup. Park Shin Hye has shut them down with her answer.
