Lim Young Min has official left AB6IX in light of his recent DUI incident.

Previously, Lim Young Min’s agency released an official statement explaining that Lim Young Min will halt his activities with the group after he was caught by police drunk driving on May 31. His license was revoked.

He later issued an apology letter and his group comeback was delayed as a result.

However, on June 8, the agency shocked fans by announcing that Lim Young Min is no longer a part of AB6IX.

In their official statement they explained that after many discussions with Lim Young Min, his departure was decided today,

“Lim Young Min’s departure from AB6IX was decided today in respect of his wishes to no longer cause harm to his group.

We apologize for causing concern to the fans with the sudden news. In addition, we express our apologies to the people involved in the album promotions due to the team’s situation.”

The agency also explained that AB6IX will continue as a four member group and apologized once again for sharing such disappointing news to the fans who support the group. They also asked fans to support the group who are working hard to prepare for their comeback despite the current difficult situation.

AB6IX comeback has been postponed to June 29.
