“The King: Eternal Monarch” is doing better!

Previously, “The King: Eternal Monarch” 9th episode scored its lowest ratings for the series thus far reaching 5%. For a production that cost around $20 million, the ratings are disappointing to say the least.

However, it seems that “The King: Eternal Monarch” is back on track.

According to Nielsen Korea, “The King: Eternal Monarch” 10th episode (part 1 and 2) rated an average of 6.4% and 7.8% nationwide, a noticeable rise from its previous. The plot has reached a new peak and a lot of new revelations and issues occurred during the 10th episode.

With JTBC’s drama “The World Of The Married” coming to an end, some fans hope the series will finally pick up. “The World Of The Married” aired in a different time slot from “The King: Eternal Monarch,” “The King: Eternal Monarch” airs at 10 p.m. while “The World Of The Married” aired on 10:50 p.m. There is a slight clash in the time slots.

Meanwhile, “The World Of The Married” ended its run with 28.4% in viewership rating, more on that here.

Have you seen the 10th episode of “The King: Eternal Monarch”? What do you think of it so far?

  1. Still crying! Haha.
Every scene on episode 10 was well executed. Every time Kang Shin Jae appears on screen, I’d feel sad for him. PM Koo and Lee Rim got into my nerves. Wdohan is still a gem. KGE and LMH’s end scene, it was heavy! And I guess some will question why, again. But I feel like there is more to it on that scene that the series is not revealing yet. to those 6 main casts, well played! Real good acting skills shown in this particular episode.
Everything from the previous episodes has started to connect. There is a lot to process and each episode gets better. This last episode opens up to so much possibility on Lee Gon’s character. We know he’ll eventually figure it out. ‘How‘ is the question. Sure it will be a grand moment of revelation near end. Events are definitely tied up from ep 1. Those ‘fillers’ from prev ep were there for a reason. I’m waiting till this series prove KES’s screenwriting is indeed, still, topnotch. And those ratings won’t matter as much. This kdrama will go down as one of the best kdrama masterpiece.
