DAY6 is suspending their activities and promotions for the time being, JYP reports.
On May 10, JYP Entertainment released a statement about DAY6’s upcoming comeback (which will happen on May 11). They apologized for delivering such unfortunate news and stated,
“Recently, some members showed symptoms of psychological anxiety and received a detailed examination. The medical advice was that they needed to receive sufficient rest and stability.
After carefully discussing between the agency and the members, we decided to temporarily suspend team promotions, including promotions for this upcoming album, in order for the group to focus on recovering their health.”
DAY6’s new album, “The Book of Us: The Demon,” is scheduled for its release on May 11. The album release will not be affected, but the group will not be promoting it.
