SM Entertainment has updated fans on Red Velvet Wendy’s health following her scary fall while rehearsing for the 2019 SBS Gayo Daejeon in December 25 of last year.
Wendy suffered serious injuries to the right side of her body including her wrist, face and pelvis. The fall required months of hospitalization followed by outpatient treatment according to some Korean news outlets. She was hospitalized on the day she fell and had stayed there ever since.
On April 3, a source from Wendy’s agency announced that she has been discharged from the hospital recently and that her health recovered significantly, however, Wendy still requires outpatient treatment.
Wendy had recently greeted fans in a while with an Instagram post on her birthday, she wrote,
“Dear our ReVeluv,
Hello everyone, it’s Wendy!
Missed me much? 🙂 It’s been awhile since I’ve uploaded my latest post. I just wanted to thank you everyone for all the love and support you have shared with me on my birthday. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Also, I’m recovering very well, thanks to all of our ReVeluv♥
As I said during my Instagram live, I won’t be going anywhere but always singing right next to you as Wendy. I hope to see you all soon on stage!
Thanks to you all, our Reveluv, for coming into my life and taking a huge part of my journey. Miss you lots.”
This is another happy news, it was also recently revealed that Wendy was cast for the Korean dub of the upcoming movie “Trolls: World Tour.” Fans are already saying this will be Wendy’s month.
Are you happy with the news?
