A lot of young people become idols in order to give themselves and their families a better life.

And today’s list is about five amazing idols who paid off their parents’ debt as soon as they hit it big. Some of these idols’ parents borrowed money to get by and had difficult times before their children were able to enjoy success. These idols did the right thing and helped settle their parents’ debts.

IU

Known for being one of the most generous idols, IU grew up in difficult circumstances. Luckily, she hit it big with the success of her hit song “Good Day.” She previously revealed that she was able to pay her parents’ debt with that.

Chungha

Chungha has been through a lot before becoming a successful idol and when she finally did, she was able to pay her family’s debt.

In a previous broadcast the idol revealed that when she became famous and started making money, she paid off the debt and also bought her mom a bag, she says she also told her mom to use her money comfortably.

Block B’s Zico

Zico had spoken about his family struggling with huge debts in the past; he previously opened up about how challenging it was for them. Zico dreamt of becoming a rapper and debuted in Block B which found success in South Korea, he was the one who composed most of their hit title tracks, which means he also earned royalties through that as well.

Zico revealed that he paid off his family’s debt after he became successful.

INFINITE’s Sungyeol

Sungyeol was one of the idols who long described that his dream was to pay off all of his family’s debt.

And he actually did it. INFINITE is one of the most successful boy groups, he revealed he was able to pay the debt back.

Girl’s Day’s Hyeri

Hyeri was able to pay back her family’s debt after her group Girl’s Day found huge success. She also gave her parents a luxury apartment and an expensive car as well to express her love and gratitude for them.
