Yoo Ah In and Gong Hyo Jin have been the center of attention after rumors spread about Burberry allegedly discriminating against the two actors due to their ethnicities.

Yoo Ah In And Gong Hyo Jin were scheduled to appear at Burberry‘s collection show in London but were reportedly banned from appearing because the fashion brand blocked everyone from Korea, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan from their list of invitees. This rumors spread because Burberry allegedly feared the coronavirus outbreak which spread from China.

However, it turns out that the rumors were false and had no truth to them whatsoever as explained by Yoo Ah In’s agency. Yoo Ah In’s agency explained that the actor had been invited but decided not to attend as a precaution to the global spread of the coronavirus.

Yoo Ah In’s agency United Artist Agency explained that Burberry didn’t tell them not to come and ended their statement with an epic response,

“What kind of global brand would exclude their official ambassador from coming to their event?”

Yoo Ah In was named the official ambassador of Burberry recently.

Gong Hyo Jin’s agency released a similar response denying the actress was banned from attending the event.
