Park Seo Joon has finally made his drama comeback in two years with the highly anticipated “Itaewon Class.”

This is his first drama in two years following the massive success of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.” fans were excited to finally see him back on screen again, but how did “Itaewon Class” do in terms of ratings? Was it welcomed by Korean netizens?

According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “Itaewon Class” scored an average viewership rating of 5.0% nationwide and 5.3% in Seoul area; it’s an increase from its predecessor “Chocolate” and a great start for a cable drama.

With its second episode it scored even higher, “Itaewon Class” scored an average viewership rating of 5.3% nationwide and 5.6% in Seoul area.

Fans’ reactions to “Itaewon Class” have been overwhelmingly positive; many expressed how happy they were with the plot, the cast and their chemistry. Many are anticipating next week’s episodes already.
