SEVENTEEN is the fourth artist to join Big Hit fan community Weverse!

Weverse is a global fan community platform that was launched by beNX, an entertainment platform company that is a subsidiary of Big Hit Entertainment. It has been used by Big hit Labels artists for now, and for the first time ever, a group not from the label is joining the platform.

During the corporate briefing held by Big Hit last night, the co-CEO Lenzo Yoon announced that the company will start collaborating with artists from Korea and overseas as well who are not part of their label, and announced SEVENTEEN would join the app.

Later, Pledis Entertainment confirmed the news with an official statement announcing it will be launched in early 2020 without specifying a date.

This fueled rumors about Big Hit acquiring Pledis Entertainment, back in January, the rumors spread but Big Hit played them down by stating that nothing has been decided yet.
