Korean movie “Parasite” has made history!

On February 9 (local time), the Oscars was held and the entire cast of the hit movie “Parasite” attended the ceremony including the director and writer.





“Parasite” has won Original Screenplay at the ’92nd Academy Awards,’ a feat that no other Asian movie has ever been able to take. Its also the first EVER movie in Korean history to be awarded an Oscar. Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin Won took the stage to accept their award. Take a look at the speech and reactions below:





Later, the movie also won “International Feature Film.”

And it also won its third award for the night, Director Bong Joon Ho won “Best Directing.”

And lastly, the beloved Korean film managed to take home “Best Picture” award breaking so many records, including becoming the first EVER non-English film to take home the “Best Picture” award.
