Jay Park is catching the attention of all Kpop fandoms and not for the best of reasons!
Jay Park posted an epic series of tweets that got on the nerves of Kpop fans, especially the BTS fandom. It all started with him praising himself as one of the most versatile artists out there. Apparently, many Kpop fans disagreed with this.
there isn’t an artist as versatile as me……that is all

He later noticed that the tweet got lots of attention from people and followed it with:
Ayyyy when did i get so poppin on twitter 😃😃😃
— JAY BUM PARK (@JAYBUMAOM) February 13, 2020
He also noticed that ARMY especially didn’t like his previous tweet, many began calling him ‘a flop,’ and worse, he praised BTS in a tweet saying:
Ok so im seeing bts fans feelin some type of way. What bts has done is historic. Breaking all types of records its crazy and inspiring to see. Plus they live streamed listening to my song my song yacht when it came out so extra cool points for that
— JAY BUM PARK (@JAYBUMAOM) February 13, 2020
He then talked about how Kpop doesn’t have the most authentic image saying:
When it comes to hip hop though “kpop” does not have the most authentic image and thats just the truth. So me trying to make things happn in that field and also being asian ive come across some difficulties was my point in the interview

This was followed by another tweet that got so much attention, he tweeted:
What bts has done for kpop what jay park has done for k hip hop what bong jun ho director has done for the korean film industry….. all very different lanes but all historic none the less and if u disagree u just a hater 🤷♂️
— JAY BUM PARK (@JAYBUMAOM) February 13, 2020
He hilariously played it off despite getting hate for the previous tweet, he stated he will be mentioning Kpop groups next time because he got attention (which was obviously meant sarcastically, but many didn’t take it that way).
Also next time my album come out im mentioning every kpop band in the book lol i barley said shit and this shit making me super poppin hahah ayyyyy 😃

What are your thoughts on his tweets? Do you think he deserves getting hate?
My Personal Thoughts
First of all, I don’t understand what the issue is? why is he getting hate? the man said nothing wrong….
I found his tweets epic. What annoys me with twitter kpop stans is how toxic they can be and how they feel the need to insert their beloved idols in every single tweet when no one is bringing them up.
He didn’t shit on anybody nor threw hate at anyone. If he thinks he’s versatile then that’s his opinion. I personally agree with that because I know what type of music he makes and I regularly check out on his works, the man has done a lot and I really respect him.
In case you don’t know, Jay Park is literally one of the most inspiring stories. The man was booed from South Korea over the stupidest shit and his career could’ve ended there but he had the balls and the confidence to pursue his dreams and go back to his country. He became one of the most successful Korean hip hop artists and he did all of that on his own, not backed by any agency whatsoever. That’s a true story of success and many of your favs wish.
You can disagree with him and point out why, but to disrespect the work he put in is just a new level of dumb I’ve never seen before. Your idols are controlled by agencies and that’s just the reality, the majority won’t ever be able to pull the stunts he did. I don’t understand why you have to be so rude because he praised himself and actually had the data to back it up.
I also don’t understand why ARMY feel the need to insert BTS everywhere and feel offended every time someone dares mention another Korean artist as ‘the greatest,’ it’s their opinion, chill, not everything is about BTS.
Now onto his most controversial tweet, I personally see nothing wrong with what he wrote; he did contribute to the K-hip hop community and is regularly mentioned as one of the best currently promoting Korean artists by anyone who watches Korean music beyond Kpop groups. You can disagree all you want, but he didn’t say anything that was worthy of the shitty comments I saw on that tweet.
No.., lot’s of love from India
We love you Jay park
it didnt start with his praising himself. it started when he said Bigbang is kings of kpop and irritated not all but one fandom so hard 😀
People need to learn about this man before they send a word of disrespect his way. He is inspirational and a legend.
