SM Entertainment has confirmed that EXO Chen is getting married to his non-celebrity girlfriend and is going to become a dad.
SM Entertainment explained in an official statement that he will be getting married to his non-celebrity girlfriend and that the wedding will be held privately attended by only their families,
“In accordance with their family’s wishes, everything related to the wedding will be kept private, so please for reporters and fans’ understanding.
As an artist, Chen will continue to show you his hard work. We ask you to Please send Chen many blessings and congratulations.
Thank you.”
A source from SM Entertainment has also confirmed that Chen fiancée is pregnant. The source said that since she’s a non-celebrity, they can’t reveal how far she’s pregnant or any other related details.

Chen has also personally announced the news of his marriage to his fans through a handwritten letter that reads as follows:
“Hello, this is Chen.
I am writing this because I have something to tell our fans. I don’t know how to start with this because I am very nervous. Although these words might not be enough, I am writing you this letter because I want to honestly tell our fans, who gave me so much love, first.
I have a girlfriend whom I want to be together with for the rest of my life. I was worried and concerned about the decision and the situations that will happen as a result of my decision, but after discussing with my agency and our members because I wanted to announce the news at least a bit earlier so I wouldn’t surprise you with it.
Then a blessing came to me. I am also taken aback, so I cannot do what I had planned with the members and the agency, but this blessing has given me strength.
