Red Velvet Breaks A Worldwide Girl Group Record With Their Most Recent Comeback


Red Velvet recent comeback is already proving to be a huge success worldwide.

On December 23, Red Velvet dropped their repackage album “The ReVe Festival: Finale” with its lead single “Psycho.” The repackage album is part of their trilogy that includes “The ReVe Festival: Day 1” which was released in June, and “The ReVe Festival: Day 2” which was released in August.

Previously, both albums had topped iTunes’s Top Albums chart in the United States, and now the third album of the trilogy joins in. This means that Red Velvet is now the only girl group in history to reach No.1 on the chart with three albums in a year.

As of December 23 11:00 p.m. KST, “Psycho” is the number one song on all major real-time charts but Melon where it’s currently at number two.
