SBS is getting a lot of backlash from all of the Kpop fandoms of the groups that performed at The 2019 Gayo Daejeon, which is a feat on its own.

SBS has been receiving backlash from Red Velvet fandom initially. It was announced earlier today that Wendy fell from the stage and sustained serious injuries that will require up to months to heal.

She sustained injuries to her face and fractures in her pelvis and wrist on the right side of her body and is naturally in no situation to perform for her successful group comeback.

But it seems that many other idols could’ve had the same fate due to the stage dangerous setting. Fans began complaining about how many idols from groups such as BTS, NCT, MONSTA X, MAMAMOO either fell, slipped or skipped on stage; fans could tell that the idols couldn’t give their all in fear of slipping and falling on stage.

MAMAMOO Solar screamed when she fell at the photo-wall, but it is unknown if it’s due to the setting of the photo-wall or if Solar misplaced her foot. BTS V could be clearly seen slipping up whilst performing alongside his group not once but a couple of times. Other BTS members slipped as well.

NCT 127 Taeyong almost slipped and fell whilst performing as well; he managed to avert disaster on stage. The same thing happened to some of MONSTA X members. These are only some of the artists who faced difficulties on stage, not all of them.

It’s been reported that many idols expressed discomfort of performing due to the stage conditions. Many fandoms are heavily criticizing SBS for their improper management of the artists’ safety and are demanding SBS issues a proper apology to Wendy and to the other idols who got hurt whilst performing.

Fans are also making fun of the stage and comparing it to an ice skating rink because of how slippery it was.
