Ahn Jae Hyun has opened up about the difficulties he faced during filming for his currently airing drama “Love With Flaws” in a recent interview with news outlet OSEN.
Ahn Jae Hyun has had a difficult year, he currently going through divorce with his wife Ku Hye Sun, his close friend Sulli also recently passed away. He revealed he had been struggling due to the hardships he’s going through in an interview with OSEN.
He said,
“I’ve lost about 10 kg (22 lbs) in the past couple of months. It’s been quite stressful because of all the things I went through. I don’t know the exact reason, but I stopped eating. My doctor couldn’t find the specific reason why I started losing so much weight. I am not feeling sick or anything. I am okay, these days I am trying hard to make sure I won’t lose more weight.”
He also says that things haven’t been easy for him for the past couple of months; admitting it was a challenge to film a romantic comedy while he was having a hard time mentally.
Ahn Jae Hyun added that he couldn’t give up on shooting because of the director and the production team who believed in him and trusted him.
Ahn Jae Hyun has been quiet during their divorce proceeding, opposite to Ku Hye sun who participated in many interviews and kept active on social media, he stayed on the quiet side and rarely released statements unless they were updates through his lawyer regarding his ongoing divorce proceedings.
Meanwhile, Ahn Jae Hyun has been gaining mixed response for his performance in “Love With Flaws.”

What they do in their life is not my business. There’s more important things in this world than dealing with two actors. They’re only human. My worry is what’s going to happen to this planet if we don’t take care of it.
We have to care about one another. He is obviously going through a tough time right now. Bless his heart. I just hope he’s getting the help he needs and takes time for himself. My heart is with him. I hope 2020 is much better for him.
