Song Hye Kyo is a kind woman with a generous heart!
Song Hye Kyo and Sungshin’s Women’s University professor Seo Kyoung Duk have been carrying on with “Meet Our Country’s History Abroad” series for a while now and it’s for a very special reason.
On November 17, the professor took to his personal Instagram account to give updates about their latest donation. He shared that November 17 is Patriotic Martyrs Day and to celebrate it, he and Song Hye Kyo donated an additional 10,000 guidebooks in Korean and English to the Ahn Chang Ho family house in Los Angeles.
The house he was talking about was a space Ahn Chang Ho’s family stayed in 1914 was a place for participants of the Korean independence movement who were living in the U.S to gather.
He also revealed that the project began 8 years ago; they had donated guidebooks to 18 historical sites related to the Korean independence movement around the world. He also explained that they had set a goal to donate guidebooks to all historical sites no matter how long it takes which impressed lots netizens since it takes a lot of money, dedication and time.
