Ji Chang Wook has recently opened up about his childhood!
On the latest episode of “Laborhood on Hire,” Ji Chang Wook opened up about his mother (which he rarely does) while talking to Yoo Jae Suk and Im Won Hee. Ji Chang Wook revealed that he’s never lived on his own and that he had always lived with his mother.
He explained,
“My mom raised me alone after my father passed away early on. She went through a lot of hardships when I was younger. Ever since I was young and while growing up, I saw my mom suffer.”
Yoo Jae Suk told Im Won Hee that he’s heard that Ji Chang Wook was a great son, Ji Chang Wook responded,
“While I do try to be a good son to my mom, the best thing I feel that I can do to her isn’t buying things for her but rather [the most important thing] spending time together.
Even though we live together. We don’t spend much time together. I always leave early in the morning and come late at night, during my off-days; I go out with friends and sometimes stay out, so I don’t spend enough time with my mom….
This is why I am trying hard to find things to do with my mother; I think that’s the hardest thing, spending time together.”

If I were a mother I would love to have him as a son! How to find such a son in today’s children-eat-parents world?
This is a word that every mother I guess wanted to hear from their children. God blessed the childrens who knows to valued the sacrifices and suffering of their parents.

I know that your mum is a special Ji Chang Wook. I being a single mum invest time in my children and went through rough patches in my life but through those hard times you find your strength and will to keep going.
But mums just do the best job they can to rear and raise their children even with or without their dads. There has been times where mums like myself have to take on both mum and dad roles to take on extra responsibilities to looking after your whanau (family). Mums just want their children to be happy.
If you ever get the chance to travel or go on holiday treat you and your mum a trip to Aotearoa NZ or Rarotonga especially summertime where the weather is much warmer. Who knows give you time for your mum to relax and enjoy.
Sorry to hear of your dad passing lots of love to you and your mum. I’m sure your dad would be watching over you and your mum spiritually protecting you both.
