JYP has TWICE’s back when it comes to invasive reporters’ questions!
TWICE held their comeback showcase on September 23, the girls performed their newest hit track and answered questions about comeback preparations and more.
Its been over a month since Dispatch shocked the Kpop world by announcing that Jihyo and Kang Daniel were dating. Shortly after the dating news, both agencies confirmed.
Despite the whole dating aspect being something that’s private, it didn’t prevent a reporter from asking about it during their comeback showcase.
During the event, Jihyo was asked to give a comment regarding this comeback being her first after the reveal of her relationship with Kang Daniel. A JYP representative stepped in and apologized while stating that such private questions regarding her private life will not be answered, he asked the reporters to refrain from asking questions unrelated to their album or comeback.
Netizens praised JYP for their stance and criticized the reporter for overstepping their boundaries.
TWICE released “Feel Special” on September 23 at 6 PM KST. JYP also explained that Mina won’t participate in promotions of her group’s comeback while Jihyo didn’t dance during the comeback showcase due to her stiff neck.
