Earlier this month, Big Hit announced in an official statement that due to TXT health concerns their comeback was delayed. It was originally scheduled for this August but it was pushed back to September.

On August 20, Big Hit returned with another statement, unfortunately, this time two more members are sick. Soobin was suffering from conjunctivitis; the agency revealed he was cured of it. However, both Taehyun and Huening Kai have contracted conjunctivitis.

They said:

“After SOOBIN was diagnosed with the same condition earlier this month, the members immediately began living in separate quarters following the advice of medical staff in order to prevent the possibility of other members becoming infected. However, with the recent outbreak of infectious conjunctivitis, TAEHYUN AND HUENINGKAI have also contracted conjunctivitis from unidentified sources.”

Big Hit goes on to explain that members Taehyun and Huening Kai state has improved a lot and they’re in no danger to spread conjunctivitis, however, filming for the comeback is difficult, thus their comeback has been delayed from September to October.

“SOOBIN has currently been completely cured of conjunctivitis, and while doctors have said TAEHYUN and HUENINGKAI’s conditions have progressed to where they are in no danger of further spreading the condition, they continue to require medical attention and management.

As a result, it has been difficult to proceed with music video filming and other production for the new album, and a rescheduling of the release date has become unavoidable.”

TXT were scheduled to attend and perform at the 2019 Soribada Best K-Music Awards and the Kansai Collection 2019 Autumn & Winter, Big Hit revealed they will attend but won’t perform,

“In addition, medical staff have strongly advised that the members refrain from performing at the 2019 SORIBADA BEST K-MUSIC AWARDS on the 23rd and the KANSAI COLLECTION 2019 AUTUMN & WINTER on the 27th. As a result, the members will participate in the events but will not be able to perform.”
