BTS And BLACKPINK To Go Up Against Popular International Groups For Best Group In The VMAs

BTS and BLACKPINK have received another nomination for the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.

The VMAs announced on August 19 that they’re bringing back a category, the ‘Best Group’ category and that two Kpop acts have been nominated for the award.





BTS and BLACKPINK will go up against: 5 Seconds of Summer, The Backstreet Boys, The Jonas Brothers, CNCO, Pretty Much, and why don’t we.

BLACKPINK is the only female group to have been nominated for the award.

Voting began on August 19 local time and will be held for the next 24 hours via MTV’s Instagram stories.
