Actor Kang Ji Hwan has been officially arrested!
The court has issued an arrest warrant for the actor who’s currently under investigation on the charges of raping victim A and sexually assault victim B.
On July 12 evening, judge Han Sung Jin of the Suwon District Court issued the arrest warrant on the grounds of fear of evidence destruction.
The actor was questioned a couple of times already and police requested a pretrial detention warrant. On his way out of the court hearing for his arrest warrant, he briefly apologized to the victims who are suffering from the comments written in articles about them. He also said he’ll fully cooperate with the investigation.

The actor’s agency said he’ll be halting his activities, for now, to focus on the investigation. His drama is now looking for an actor replacement.
