WINNER Lee Seung Hoon has been caught in the middle of B.I’s drug controversy because he had reportedly spoken to informant A (Han Seo Hee) according to Dispatch.
However, YG Entertainment stepped up to clarify the report and to also clarify the ‘deputy director’ nickname which caused issues for the WINNER member as well.
On June 15, YG Entertainment released an official statement; in their statement, they explain that reports of WINNER Lee Seung Hoon being a deputy director at YG are simply not true but rather a nickname that he has earned through suggesting different ideas to the agency.
The business cards that some reports talked about were also debunked by the agency. They explained they were props created for content.
Regarding Dispatch report that detailed Han Seo Hee’s testimony and mentioned Lee Seung Hoon, the agency says he has not intervened in the issue. They also added that the police investigation will reveal the truth. They asked the media not to speculate on the matter.
June 14 Dispatch report alleges that Lee Seung Hoon contacted Han Seo Hee when he found out that B.I had allegedly tested positive for drugs, he asked to meet her in YG building but when she arrived she was greeted by a YG representative called K. People began to speculate if he had intervened in the case and tried to bury it with the help of YG.
