Published Categorized as Kpop

YG Entertainment has many great reputable actors signed to their agency such as Nam Joo Hyuk, Lee Sung Kyung, Cha Seung Won, Gang Dong Won, Kim Hee Ae, Yoo In Na, Son Ho Jun, and many others. However, it seems that numerous actors are looking for methods to leave the agency.

According to a source from Yonhap News, it’s been reported many actors want to leave the agency reviewing various methods to do so.

Due to numerous scandals of YG Entertainment, their reputation has sunk beyond repair according to many specialists, netizens call YG ‘pharmacy’ due to many of their artists being associated with drugs controversy.

One source told Yonhap News that actors under the agency fear for their image, the image they worked so hard to cultivate, many are thinking of ways to transfer to other agencies. According to the source, actors A, B, C, D and many more are looking for new agencies.

Some are already actively engaging in talks with agencies and many of those agencies offer legal help in case they wanted to terminate their contracts and transfer agencies.

What do you think of this?

My Personal Thoughts

This keeps getting worse!

Many of my favorite actors are part of YG, I can’t believe just how many of them are under YG, I just took a look at the full list and so many of them are under YG, its actually shocking at this point.

So many of them are veteran actors who worked so hard on their careers and have a clean image, I can’t blame them for wanting to break off their contracts.

As far as my experience goes, actors usually sign 2, 3 or 4 years contract with agencies, unlike idols who usually sign for 7 years after they debut.

For the veteran actors in the agency, I think its not going to be difficult to find a solution or a way out. I just hope my favs do something about this because it looks like this whole controversy with YG is not dying down any time soon.

On the other hand, I think its going to be wayyy more difficult for any idol group to leave YG. Poor guys!
