Lee Min Ho has finally found his leading lady for the highly anticipated upcoming drama “The King: The Eternal Monarch,” and it’s none other than actress Kim Go Eun.

On May 20, the production company that is set to work on the drama announced the happy news, this will be Kim Go Eun and screenwriter Kim Eun Sook second collaboration, they previously worked together on the hit drama “Goblin.”





Kim Go Eun is also playing two roles since the drama is set to take place in two parallel universes of Korea, she will play the role of detective Jung Tae Eul of the Republic of Korea and the criminal Luna in the Empire of Korea.

In their official statement, the production company shows faith in Kim Go Eun acting abilities and trust she’ll be able to successfully portray two drastically different characters.





As previously stated, the drama will begin filming in the second half of this year and will air in 2020.
