Warning: discussion about suicide.
On May 26, it was reported that former KARA member Goo Hara had attempted suicide in a room on the second floor of her house in Cheongdam neighborhood, Seoul.
Goo Hara had posted a series of alarming messages to her Instagram last night, in one last post, she wrote, “goodbye.” Her fans were extremely worried she’d something to herself and sent her encouraging words hoping she’d read them.
Her manager had seen the messages and tried to call her but she didn’t pick up, he arrived at her house to find her unconscious in a room and it was filled with smoke. He called the police immediately around 12:40 a.m. She was moved to a hospital where it’s been reported that she is in a stable condition right now.
She is reportedly still unconscious but her breathing and pulse are all normal.
Goo Hara has been under the public eye for a while because of her ongoing case of assault with her ex-boyfriend.
