BLACKPINK “Kill This Love” no longer holds the record of the second most viewed video in the first 24 hours on YouTube.

Taylor Swift new hit track “Me” was released on April 26 (local time). It went on to break many records; one of those records is the second most viewed video on YouTube in the first 24 hours.

Previously, the views count showed 56.9 million views. However, due to many factors, the live count shown on YouTube on popular music videos in the first 24 hours isn’t accurate; YouTube needs to confirm the view count.

On April 27, according to Billboard, a release from YouTube confirmed that Taylor Swift “Me” music video was viewed 65.2 million times in the first 24 hours making it the second most viewed video within the first 24 hours on YouTube.

The record of the highest video debut on YouTube is held by BTS “Boy With Luv,” which recorded more than 74 million views.

This makes “Me” the solo female artist with the biggest 24-hour debut on YouTube to-date.

This also makes BLACKPINK “Kill This Love” the most viewed Kpop female group music video in the first 24 hours.
