Bae Suzy has finally found a new home!

On April 8, Management SOOP released an official statement to the press announcing that Suzy has joined their agency.

Through their official statement, they promise to support her in domestic and overseas activities as well as her solo promotions as a singer.

Suzy had previously departed JYP 9 years after she had first signed up with them through her debut with Miss A.

She is currently preparing for upcoming drama “Vagabond” alongside Lee Seung Gi.

Management SOOP has an impressive actor’s collection including Gong Yoo, Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Jae Wook, Nam Ji Hyun and many others.

Following the official announcement, Suzy took to Instagram to personally announce the news as well and talk about her feelings.

She thanked JYP staff who supported her for nine years and thanked her fans as well.

“I will work hard to do well at Management SOOP, the agency I will be working with from now on.”

My Personal Thoughts

Just like I thought, she joined an actor’s agency. I think she’ll do well.

It seems that she still wants to pursue music as well judging from Management SOOP statement but I am guessing her main focus will shift towards dramas and movies from now on.

I wish her all the best, Management SOOP has a lot of successful actors under their belt and it seems they’re doing fine with each one. I can’t wait to see “Vagabond.”
