Actor Cha Tae Hyun and variety star Kim Jun Ho attended police investigation as witnesses today according to the Special Detective Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.
Police confirmed that they played golf twice in 2016. The police will examine whether the amount of money involved in the scandal is equivalent to gambling.
Kim Joon Ho’s agency also confirmed the news through a source; Kim Jun Ho attended the questioning as a witness.
Both TV personalities have been wrapped up in controversy after KBS News report on March 16 that revealed chatroom conversations from Jung Joon Young phone, in the conversations they discussed betting.
Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Jun Ho returned with official statements the next day, admitting they betted adding they returned the money right away, they both apologized and stepped down of all the shows they were in.
