Big Hit Entertainment new boy group TXT debuted 3 days ago, the boy group has been called “BTS brother” group.
Shortly after ARMY found out TXT would make their debut, they shared their hopes to see interactions between TXT and BTS, some also talked about the maknae of BTS, Jungkook, officially becoming a hyung.
A hyung is a Korean term that brothers/friends use to call other males that are older than them. BTS and TXT first interaction is here at last and fans can’t contain their excitement.
On March 7, TXT made their first EVER M Countdown performance; they performed two tracks of their debut album, Crown and Blue Orangeade.
TXT’s official twitter account has shared a group photo of TXT and BTS together, the photo appears to have been taken at Big Hit Entertainment, in the caption the group wrote,
“Thank you very much for taking the time to say good things to us and giving us sincere advice despite being busy.
We’ll do our best to be respectable junior artists! We love you, sunbaes.”

Jungkook saw the tweet and replied with something that got him trending on twitter, he replied,
“This is Jungkook hyung.
Don’t get sick, good luck with your promotions.”

ARMY can’t believe that it has finally happened; Jungkook is officially a hyung to TXT members who are all younger than him.

As a result of Jungkook tweet, fans trended Jungkook hyung and Jungkookie worldwide. Fans had ranges of emotions as reactions to Jungkook calling himself Hyung.
