Actor Lee Jong Suk is leaving for military soon!
An exclusive report by TV Report stated that the actor would be enlisting on February 28. The report stated the actor would be serving as a public service agent after finishing his basic military training.
In response to the exclusive report, the actor’s agency A-Man project told OSEN the news isn’t accurate.
They revealed in a statement to OSEN that he hadn’t received his draft notice yet, they expressed their shock by the report of TV Report stating it was the first time they heard such a thing.
However, it’s true the actor will be enlisting as soon as possible, in the first half of 2019. They revealed he will be indeed serving as public service agent because he had suffered from a ruptured ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) due to a car accident; he had been in a car accident back when he was in middle school.
His agency also said they’re currently filming his drama as fast as possible due to his impending military enlistment.
He’s currently leading tvN drama “Romance Is a Bonus Book.”
